Welcome to Yoga & Bodywork Shala, where every stretch, breath, and touch is an invitation to come home to yourself. The word shala comes from Sanskrit, meaning 'home' or 'house' in the yoga tradition, it represents a sacred space for practice, learning, and community. In a modern sense, it has also come to mean a 'gathering place,' where people come together to connect, move, and grow.
This is not your ordinary studio. It's a lovingly transformed home, an intimate space for yoga, ZenThai Shiatsu, and embodied movement to support your everyday wellness. Located approx 10 minutes drive from Brisbane CBD with easy access to public transport, this 1-bedroom unit has been transformed to host small group classes and workshops where movement meets stillness, and where every session, whether on the mat or the futon, is a journey into presence, play, and embodied care.

Vinyasa
A dynamic, flowing style of yoga that links breath with movement. Vinyasa builds strength, flexibility, and focus while creating a moving meditation that leaves you feeling balanced and energised.

Yin & Zen
A slow, grounding practice that combines long-held yin poses (2 - 5 minutes each pose) to release tension and improve flexibility. During the class, I will incorporate ZenThai-Shiatsu-inspired hands-on support, placing gentle, mindful and therapeutic pressure to help deepend your stretch safely, guide the body into greater ease, cultivate stillness, clarity, and inner calm.

ZenThai Shiatsu Massage
ZenThai Shiatsu Massage is a dynamic and restorative bodywork practice that blends Thai massage, Zen Shiatsu, and osteopathic techniques. Through assisted stretches, acupressure, and gentle joint mobilisations, it helps release tension, improve mobility, and bring the body back into balance - like yoga done for you.

Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga
Gentle, supportive classes designed for mums and mums-to-be. Prenatal yoga helps prepare the body and mind for birth, while postnatal yoga supports recovery, restores strength, and nurtures well-being. Bubs are always welcome.

Brisbane Kids Yoga
Our Yoga Kids classes combine yoga, mindfulness, creative movement, and emotional regulation tools, all designed specifically for children aged 5–11. A nurturing space where children can move, breathe, stretch, laugh and learn about the self through the self to build inner confidence.
I am a certified Vinyasa, Yin, Prenatal, and Postnatal yoga teacher, as well as a Level 1 ZenThai Shiatsu practitioner, dedicated to helping individuals connect more deeply with their body and mind.
My teaching style blends strength with softness, encouraging students to build resilience while also learning when to pause, release, and create space.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching at some of Brisbane’s leading yoga studios and gyms, including Anytime Fitness, EMF, Perform360, Flex Hot Yoga, Bend & Fly, and Raw Power Yoga Albion.
My vision is to continue sharing yoga and bodywork as a way to nurture balance, focus, and self-awareness, both on and off the mat.
