Brisbane Yoga Kids
Helping kids aged 5+ build inner calm and confidence.
Benefits of Kids Yoga
Emotional Regulation & Calm
Children learn simple, fun practices to settle big feelings, manage stress, and understand their emotions. They build tools they can use at school, at home, and throughout their lives.
Stronger Body Awareness
Yoga helps kids develop balance, coordination, core strength, flexibility, and posture. It supports healthy physical development in a gentle, safe way.
Confidence & Self-Esteem
Movement-based challenges, partner poses, and playful activities help kids feel successful and proud of themselves.
Improved Focus & Concentration
Mindful breathing and movement strengthen the ability to pay attention - a skill that translates to better learning and calmer behaviour.
Social & Communication Skills
Through group games, cooperative poses, and shared activities, children learn teamwork, empathy, listening, and turn-taking.
Joyful Movement & Healthy Habits
Kids love how fun yoga feels. It connects them to their bodies in positive, healthy ways.
Our Brisbane Yoga Kids classes combine yoga, mindfulness, creative movement, story-based play, and emotional regulation tools - all designed specifically for children aged 5 and above.
In countries like India, yoga is considered so valuable for children’s development that it’s included in the national school guidelines and taught in many classrooms. This is because growing up with yoga helps children build focus, emotional resilience, flexibility and calm from an early age. And, I would like to bring the same supportive practice to Australian children - giving them tools that will help them in their personal development in many ways.
