What is Vinyasa Yoga?
Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic style of yoga that links breath with movement. Each posture flows smoothly into the next, creating a moving meditation that builds strength, flexibility, and focus. The word “vinyasa” means “to place in a special way,” reflecting how the practice is intentionally sequenced to create balance and harmony in the body and mind.
Classes often vary in pace and intensity, but all share a sense of rhythm and flow- like a dance guided by the breath. It’s an energising practice that helps release tension, improve circulation, and cultivate presence, making it accessible for both beginners and experienced practitioners.
It can feel like an athletic practice at times—you may even break a sweat! Think of it as a full-body workout that not only builds strength, flexibility, and stamina, but also supports focus, stress relief, and mindful awareness. Beyond the physical challenge, Vinyasa leaves you feeling lighter, calmer, and more connected—both on and off the mat.

I am a certified Vinyasa, Yin, Prenatal, and Postnatal yoga teacher, as well as a Level 1 ZenThai Shiatsu practitioner, dedicated to helping individuals connect more deeply with their body and mind.
My teaching style blends strength with softness, encouraging students to build resilience while also learning when to pause, release, and create space.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching at some of Brisbane’s leading yoga studios and gyms, including Anytime Fitness, EMF, Perform360, Flex Hot Yoga, Bend & Fly, and Raw Power Yoga Albion.
My vision is to continue sharing yoga and bodywork as a way to nurture balance, focus, and self-awareness, both on and off the mat.
