Half-Day Yoga Retreat
in Brisbane with Grace.

Learn, move, and connect through the practice of yoga

This half-day experience is designed for those who want to learn the foundations of Vinyasa Yoga, not just follow a class. We begin with a short introduction to yoga - exploring its background, philosophy, and the different styles of yoga, before gradually moving into practice.

You’ll learn the Sanskrit names of common poses, principles of alignment, and how breath connects with movement in a Vinyasa flow. Throughout the practice, guidance and gentle adjustments help build body awareness, confidence, and a deeper understanding of each posture.

After morning tea, we return to the mat to experience a complete Vinyasa flow, linking breath and movement together in a dynamic and energising practice, ending with a Yin Yoga, allowing the body and nervous system to slow down and integrate the morning’s learning.

Following a nourishing lunch and time to connect, the day concludes with Yoga Nidra - a deeply restorative guided relaxation to leave you feeling calm, grounded, and refreshed.

Sample Flow of the Day

8:00 – 9:45am | Welcome & Yoga Foundations
Begin with an introduction to yoga - its history, philosophy, and different styles. Learn key concepts used in Vinyasa practice, including common poses, Sanskrit terminology, breath awareness, and alignment principles, to build confidence and self-awareness in your practice.

9:45 – 10:15am | Morning Tea Break
Savour delicious home-baked treats and sip on soothing herbal teas, enjoying a chance to relax, connect with fellow participants, and prepare for the energising Vinyasa Flow.

10:30 – 11:40am | Full Vinyasa Flow & Yin Yoga
Dive into a guided Vinyasa Flow, linking breath and movement across 9 flowing sequences with over 40 poses. After the energising practice, slow down with Yin Yoga, holding poses longer to release tension and integrate the morning’s learning through mindful movement and guided meditation.

12:00 – 1:00pm | Lunch Break
Enjoy a nourishing lunch and time to connect with others, share stories, and relax.

1:00 – 2:00pm | Yoga Nidra
Conclude the day with Yoga Nidra, a deeply restorative guided relaxation that helps integrate your practice, calm the mind, and leave you feeling grounded, refreshed, and balanced.

I am a certified Vinyasa, Yin, Prenatal, and Postnatal yoga teacher, as well as a Level 1 ZenThai Shiatsu practitioner, dedicated to helping individuals connect more deeply with their body and mind.

My teaching style blends strength with softness, encouraging students to build resilience while also learning when to pause, release, and create space.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching at some of Brisbane’s leading yoga studios and gyms, including Anytime Fitness, EMF, Perform360, Flex Hot Yoga, Bend & Fly, and Raw Power Yoga Albion.

My vision is to continue sharing yoga and bodywork as a way to nurture balance, focus, and self-awareness, both on and off the mat.
